MECHANIZATION IN AGRICULTURE
Mechanization is a crucial input for agricultural crop production and one that historically has been neglected in the context of developing countries. Factors that reduce the availability of farm power compromise the ability to cultivate sufficient land and have long been recognized as a source of poverty, especially in sub-Saharan Africa.
ICT & ADVANCE TECHNOLOGIES
Adopting modern or advanced technological programms and practices in areas like irrigation, hydroponics, disease and pest control, etc to maximize food production making Africa “the food basket of the world” and reducing drastically importation of food.
AGRICULTURAL VALUE CHAINS & SERVICES
The approach includes multifaceted sector- and feasibility studies to strengthen facilities and services in agricultural value chains. In this context we implemented solutions and information systems for the health and traceability of animals and the quality and safety of animal products.
RURAL DEVELOPMENT
A holistic and multi-facetted approach is taken to Rural Development projects.
Technical expertise is possible
to translate results from sectors studies into the most appropriate strategies on agri – environment, organic farming, peri-urban farming and integrated farming.

AFRICA CAN FEED ITSELF
Opportunities for West African agricultural growth are unprecedent
Market opportunities for West African food producers are increasingly dynamic due to population growth, urbanisation, income growth, dietary diversification and higher output prices.
Food demand is transforming from undifferentiated bulk commodities towards food products with differentiated quality attributes such as nutritional and health characteristics, packaging, and ease of preparation, offering important opportunities for value addition.
ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY HELPS TO BOOST AFRICA
Mechanization – Way to Success
Studies from other developing regions indicate a key role of business and entrepreneurship linked to agricultural mechanization supplies and services.
Mechanization can be viewed as a necessary dimension of development strategies that promote the commercialization and modernization of small-, medium- and large-scale farms and firms in order to accelerate agricultural development and initiate sustained poverty-reducing economic growth in both rural and urban areas.
We must support Africa in following fields:
EDUCATION & TRAINING
TRACTORS

IRRIGATION & DRAINAGE
HARVESTING MACHINES

Where will agricultural growth in Africa come from?
Africa’s full agricultural potential will require significant investment in agricultural mechanisation.
Sub-Saharan Africa will need eight times more fertilizer, six times more improved seed, at least $8 billion of investment in basic storage, and as much as $65 billion in irrigation to fulfill its agricultural promise.
Much investment will also be needed in basic infrastructure, such as roads, ports, and electricity, plus improvements in policies and regional trade flows.
